My name is Cocoro Kambayashi, and I am an illustrator from Malvern, PA, with roots in fine arts, especially painting. While my main work now focuses on digital illustration, I carry the hands-on intuition of traditional mediums into every piece I create. For me, illustration is about crafting worlds, weaving together stories and visuals that spark curiosity and invite in depth thinking. Having my previous art focus on my cultural roots and displacement as a Japanese American, it is not just the act of creating that drives me but the way my illustrations evoke emotions and stories that might not be said aloud.
